Q 2: I am a person who loves reading the Noble Qur'an , and I desire to memorize it, but whenever I remember showing off, I fear for myself that I might be a hypocrite in memorizing it, so I abandon my desire out of fear of that. What is the ruling?
A 2 : Seek help from Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) and be sincere in intention for Allah the Exalted, and begin memorizing the Book of Allah without hesitation in that, and leave behind you the whispering of Satan and his frightening you regarding showing off, for that is from the discouragement of Iblis and his diverting the servants from good.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
