Is it permissible for us to write the word of testimony (La ilaha illa Allah) inside the grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 14506 )
Q 2: Is it permissible for us to write the word of testimony (La ilaha illa Allah) inside the grave and then place the corpse on top of it? And does the deceased benefit from this?
A 2 : It is not permissible to write the word of tawhid (La ilaha illa Allah) inside the grave and place the corpse of the deceased on top of it; because of the disrespect shown to the word of tawhid in doing so, and because of the innovation introduced in the religion by doing so. It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected.من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد
Sahih Muslim 1718a
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
