Who claims to know what is in the womb

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: A guest came to us twenty years ago, and we knew nothing about him. As he was leaving the house, he said on his own initiative: “A child will be born to you,” and asked us to name him after his own name. After two years, a child was born to us, and we named him after his name. This was done out of our ignorance. Is there any sin on us for that? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you, and may He reward you with the best reward for us.
A2: There is no sin on you regarding that naming. The man mentioned claimed what he had no knowledge of. It was obligatory for you to refute him if he said it in the context of fortune-telling and claiming knowledge of the unseen. However, if he said it as an expression of optimism and as a supplication for you, then there is no harm in that. And Allah knows best.
