Q: Is reading something from the Noble Qur'an during prostration disliked? One of the girls read that there is a recommended prayer consisting of 12 rak'ahs, in each of which the tashahhud is recited without the Ibrahimiyyah prayer, except in the last rak'ah, where the Ibrahimiyyah prayer is recited. After the tasbih and praise of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and the prayer upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), she reads from the surahs what is in the Book, the Mu'awwidhat, al-Ikhlas, and the Verse of the Throne seven times, then whatever supplications she wishes. But after a while, I learned that it is disliked to read the Qur'an during prostration. Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A: It is not permissible to read the Qur'an in ruku' and sujud; due to the prohibition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of that. From Ibn 'Abbas he said: It was narrated by Ahmad and Muslim and al-Nasa'i and Abu Dawud , and because
ruku' and sujud are not a place for reading, and the prayer mentioned has no basis in the Shari'ah, so it is an innovation, it must be abandoned, and it is not permissible to perform it; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)Sahih Muslim 1718b . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

A: It is not permissible to read the Qur'an in ruku' and sujud; due to the prohibition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of that. From Ibn 'Abbas he said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted the curtain and the people were in rows behind Abu Bakr, and he said: O people, there remains nothing of the glad tidings of prophethood except the good dream, which a Muslim sees or is shown to him. And I was prohibited from reading the Qur'an while in ruku' or sujud. As for ruku', magnify the Lord in it, and as for sujud, strive in supplication, for it is likely that it will be answered for you.
كشف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الستارة والناس صفوف خلف أبي بكر ، فقال: يا أيها الناس، إنه لم يبق من مبشرات النبوة إلا الرؤيا الصالحة، يراها المسلم أو ترى له، ألا وإني نهيت أن أقرأ القرآن راكعًا أو ساجدًا، أما الركوع فعظموا فيه الرب، وأما السجود فاجتهدوا في الدعاء، فقمن أن يستجاب لكمruku' and sujud are not a place for reading, and the prayer mentioned has no basis in the Shari'ah, so it is an innovation, it must be abandoned, and it is not permissible to perform it; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
