A 2: Using the miswak or fiddling with basil while the imam is delivering the sermon is not permissible, and it is in the same sense as touching pebbles. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Whoever touches pebbles during the sermon has spoken in vain, and whoever speaks in vain has no Friday prayer for him
