Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first and sixth questions of the fatwa number ( 16127 )
Q 1: Is it permissible for someone other than the imam to translate the Friday sermon so that those who do not know Arabic can understand ?
A 1: It is permissible to translate the Friday sermon into the language of the attendees who do not understand the preacher’s speech, in order to benefit them.
Q 6: After the Friday sermon, is it permissible for the imam, while on the pulpit, to supplicate to Allah for the people, and for them to say "Ameen" in response to it?
A 6: Supplication at the end of the second Friday sermon is prescribed for the imam only, and the congregation does not say "Ameen" to this supplication in a collective voice, but rather
each person says "Ameen" individually, in a low voice. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
