My father left a room designated for prayer; what should I do with it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 15218 )
Q 1: My father (may Allah have mercy on him) passed away in 1374 AH, leaving behind, among his estate, a house and mud enclosures. In the enclosure, there is a room measuring (3×3 m) designated for prayer, which is a (mosque) without a mihrab. Due to the age of the house and its unsuitability, it has been abandoned for residential use. There is a congregational mosque in the village, which has existed since the time of my father (may Allah have mercy on him) and has been recently renovated. We pray in it, and I wish to benefit from the location of the house and its mud enclosures
The aforementioned, and since the room designated for prayer has remained in its natural state for this period during my father’s time (may Allah have mercy on him), I kindly request your fatwa on what I should do with it: should I appraise its value and spend it for the benefit of the village’s congregational mosque? Knowing that it is part of the private properties. Or should it remain in its natural state?

A 1: Its ruling is the same as the ruling for the rest of the parts of the house, and it does not have the ruling of a mosque; rather, it is part of the inheritance. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
