Q 1: Whatis the ruling on the imam praying over the deceased in a room behind the mosque, while the worshippers are in front of him in the mosque, praying with him? ؟
A 1 : It is permissible to pray over the funeral in the mosque and outside the mosque, but it is necessary that the worshippers be behind their imam, as with other prayers. It is not permissible for them to be in front of him, because this contradicts the Sunnah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
