Q: What is the ruling on one who prayed while unaware that he had reached puberty ? Does he have to repeat the prayer, and what is the ruling on the prayer of those who prayed behind him if he was the imam? Please answer us, may Allah reward you.
A: Ritual purity is a condition for the validity of the prayer, and it is obligatory for one who prayed without being in a state of ritual purity to repeat it. As for the prayer of those who prayed behind him while they were unaware, it is valid, and they do not have to repeat it.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
