Advancing the 'Isha' and Tarawih Prayers Before Their Time

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 20956 )
Q 3: During our visit to Côte d'Ivoire in Ramadan, we noticed that after the Maghrib prayer, they remain in the mosque for about twenty minutes, then the adhan is called for the 'Isha' prayer, and they pray 'Isha' and Tarawih immediately after the adhan. We also noticed that this adhan is early according to the timing devices. What is the ruling?
A 3: Every obligatory prayer has a specific time, and it is not permissible to perform the prayer before that time nor to delay it until after it; for Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.إِنَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَوْقُوتًا
[An-Nisa 4:103]
And it is established in the Sunnah many hadiths explaining the times of the prayers, so the prayer is not valid before the entry of its time, and whoever prays before the time, his prayer is invalid, except for one who has an excuse
that permits combining, such as illness or travel, like advancing the 'Asr prayer and combining it with the Zuhr, and the 'Isha' prayer and combining it with the Maghrib. If these mentioned people are praying 'Isha' and Tarawih before the entry of the 'Isha' time, their prayer is invalid, and it is obligatory to advise them and alert them to their error. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
