Ruling on the presence of bathrooms in the direction of the qiblah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 19935 )
Q: There is a mosque under construction in the finishing stage in Jeddah al-Murwa district north of Jeddah . I live there, and this mosque has been built in the latest architectural style, but the residence for the imam and the mu'adhdhin is located at its front. This residence has four bathrooms facing the qiblah . Is there any obligation on the worshippers if they face the bathrooms in the direction of the mosque, according to the attached diagram? I hope you will give me a satisfying fatwa. May Allah preserve you and care for you.
A: Since the residence of the imam and the mu'adhdhin is located in the qiblah direction of the mosque and contains bathrooms, there is no obstacle to praying in this mosque, and there is no harm in doing so. Nothing is required of you regarding facing these houses that have bathrooms, as long as there is a separating wall between the mosque and the houses, and no harm reaches the mosque from these bathrooms by the exit of water or odor from them into the mosque; because there is no religious evidence prohibiting this.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
