Adding the location of the bathrooms to the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 2851 )
All praise is due to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. And after that: The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has reviewed what was sent to His Eminence the President General from the questioner, the Deputy Minister of Justice for Judicial Affairs, and referred to the Committee by the General Secretariat of the Senior Scholars’ Council with number 25/2 on 5/1/1400 AH. The question is: We inform your eminence that the al-Sharbatli mosque is crowded with worshippers, and there are bathrooms on the eastern side. We wish to add the bathrooms to the mosque out of necessity. Is that permissible or not?
The answer: The toilets and bathrooms attached to the mosque should be moved to the land they have acquired, and the land of the toilets and bathrooms should be used to expand the mosque if the public interest requires it, and there is no
religious objection to this, but it should be done after cleaning the land that was occupied by the toilets and bathrooms. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
