Q 2: We received some hadiths from African scholars who said: ( Allah said: I was a treasure and was not known , so I loved to be known, so I created a creation from My light and named him Muhammad, and through Him they know Me ). When we heard that, we turned to the Qur'an, where Allah the Exalted said:[An-Nisa 4:59] .
A 2: This is not a hadith, and the author of ( Kashf al-Khafa ) mentioned it with the wording: ( I was a treasure and was not known, so I loved to be known, so I created a creation and they knew Me through Him and knew Me ). He said: It is reported from the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah that it is not from the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and no sound or weak chain is known for it, and he was followed by al-Zarkashi and al-Hafith Ibn Hajar and al-Suyuti and others, and what is mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was created from the light of Allah is not correct, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was created from two parents like the rest of people.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
