The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19146 )
Q2: I hope you will explain this verse. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:62] .
A2: After Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, had explained in the preceding verses the state of those who defied His commands, committed what He forbids, transgressed by doing what is not permitted, and violated the prohibitions, and what punishment befell them, the Exalted drew attention in this verse to the fact that whoever among the former nations did good and obeyed, he has the reward of goodness. And so it is until the Hour comes: everyone who follows the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), has eternal happiness. There is no fear for them regarding what they will face, nor will they grieve over what they leave behind. Refer to (Tafsir Ibn Kathir ) and others at this verse for further benefit.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Q2: I hope you will explain this verse. Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
