The questioner : Who are the Sabians? Are they those who left the religion of Allah, or those who are not from the religion of Allah?
The Shaykh : The scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) differed regarding them. It was said: The Sabians are those who left the religion of their people. It was also said: The Sabians are those who have no religion. I do not know which of the two opinions is more correct, so Allah knows best.
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
