Q: Will we meet our sons in the Hereafter? We all hope for that. We ask you to explain this topic and guide us to whatever you see as good. May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A: Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) has informed that by His grace, favor, and generosity, He will join the offspring of the believers with their fathers in rank, even if they do not reach their fathers' rank in deeds. He said (Exalted is His Majesty):[At-Tur 52:21], and Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "Indeed, Allah raises the offspring of the believer in his rank, even if they are lower than him in deeds, so that his eye may be pleased with them." Then he mentioned the aforementioned verse. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُمْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
