Q: I want you to clarify for me the difference between the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers (Muhammad) (peace and blessings be upon him), and 'Isa (peace be upon him), and Mirza Ghulam Ahmad . There is a major problem regarding these people here in our country in the central region, and I want to know the truth in your council urgently, so that I can clarify the matter to the members of my community and guide them or direct them.
A: Regarding the question about 'Isa and Muhammad (peace be upon them both) and the liar Ghulam al-Qadiyani: 'Isa (peace be upon him) is 'Isa ibn Maryam , the servant of Allah and His Messenger, and His word which He cast to Maryam and a spirit from Him. Allah sent him to the Children of Israel to confirm what was before him of the Torah, and to give glad tidings of the sending of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as a Messenger who would come after him. So he called to Allah and conveyed the message, and the Jews disbelieved in him and tried to kill him and crucify him, so Allah saved him from them and raised him to Himself.
As for Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), he is the Seal of the Prophets, and he is Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim, from the descendants of Isma'il ibn Ibrahim al-Khalil (may the best of prayers and peace be upon them both). Allah sent him to all people as a bringer of good news and a warner, and a caller to Allah by His permission and a manifest lamp. He made it obligatory upon all creation to obey him and follow him, and whoever does not follow him and believe in him is a disbeliever who will remain in the Fire forever, even if he claims affiliation with Judaism or Christianity; because Allah abrogated all religions with His religion, and made obedience to Him obligatory upon all people until the Hour comes. No prophet will be sent after him because he is the Seal of the Prophets. As for Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiyani , he is a liar who claimed prophethood, and some people followed him and believed his lie, so the Muslims ruled that he is a disbeliever and that those who followed him are disbelievers, and they named them the Qadiyaniyyah , and they ruled that Islam is free of them; because there is no prophet after Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
