Q: O brothers, I would like to ask some questions about this paper I sent you, so that I may know the correct answer from you, so that I
do not be mistaken. I received this paper as a gift, but when I was asked about it, they told me: We know nothing about it. And I want to know the truth. Its text is as follows: (O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the obedient. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the repentant. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the grateful. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the righteous. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of those who bow. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of those who prostrate. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of those who stand. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of those who sit. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the pious. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of those who seek forgiveness. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of those who regret. the master of the pure, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the prophets, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the scholars, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the master of the worlds, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the pure and clean prophet, O Allah, send blessings, peace, and mercy upon our master Muhammad, the Qurayshi, the Hashimite, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the Arab prophet, honored on the Day of Resurrection, O Allah, send blessings, peace, and mercy upon our master Muhammad, the master of the people of Paradise, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the possessor of the Praiseworthy Station, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the possessor of the Straight Path, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the best of the first and the last, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad and upon all the prophets and messengers, and upon all the near angels, and upon the righteous servants of Allah from the people of the heavens and the earths, and upon us all, with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful, and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and all his companions). And whoever calls with this supplication once in his lifetime, or on a Friday, or in a month, Allah will admit him to Paradise without reckoning. And whoever writes it and hangs it on himself, Allah will suffice him from the evil he fears. And whoever dies and places it in his shroud, it will be a witness for him on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah will assign angels to him to protect him from terror and severity. And he said (peace and blessings be upon him): (While
I was praying behind the Station, when I finished, I called upon Allah the Mighty and Majestic and asked Him for forgiveness for my Ummah, for He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. So Jibril (peace be upon him) descended upon me. I said: O my brother, O Jibril, you are my beloved and the beloved of my Ummah. Teach me something that will be for me and for my Ummah after me, so that they may attain goodness for them and mercy for them. So Jibril (peace be upon him) said: There is no Muslim who calls with this supplication once in his lifetime but that he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his face shining with light like the moon on the night of the full moon. The people will be amazed by him and say: This is a sent prophet or a near angel. It will be said: He is a servant who called with this supplication once). And Jibril (peace be upon him) said: (O Muhammad, no one calls with this supplication fifteen times in his lifetime but that Allah will guide for him a horse from Paradise, saddled with red ruby, and they will come to him and say to him: O servant of Allah, your reward today is nothing but Paradise. Descend in the vicinity of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then Jibril said: O Muhammad, this supplication contains the Greatest Name of Allah, so whoever reads it will be safe on the Day of Resurrection from the Great Terror and from the punishment of the grave. And the reward of this supplication, if the trees were pens and the seas were ink and the jinn and mankind were a book, they would not be able to write a part of the reward of this supplication. And no one calls with this supplication but that Allah will write for him the reward of four angels and four prophets).
A: These prayers and supplications in the aforementioned pamphlet are all
religious innovations, and the arrangement of the reward mentioned for them is invalid and a lie, having no basis in the pure Shari'ah. Therefore, it is not permissible to act upon them or to promote them, whether by selling, buying, or gifting. It is obligatory for whoever comes into possession of them to destroy them. And in what has come in the Great Qur'an and is established in the pure Sunnah, there is sufficiency from this and its like, which the liars fabricate. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and all his companions.
