The statement of the one who says: Allah is in the hearts of the believers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 18672 )
Q 1: The statement of the one who says: (Allah is in the hearts of the believers) . Does this mean that the speaker is a follower of the doctrine of divine indwelling, and which of the misguided sects is the one that made this statement?
A 1: It is better to avoid this statement: (Allah is in the hearts of the believers); because it suggests the doctrine of divine indwelling, and it should be replaced by saying: The believers love Allah, as Allah the Exalted said:
But those who believe are stronger in love for Allahوَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلَّهِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:165]
, and He the Exalted said:
Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Himفَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:54]
, and if the one who says this means that the love of Allah is in the hearts of the believers and that they fear Him and are afraid of Him, then there is
no harm in that, as the meaning is correct, as Allah the Exalted said:
Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge.إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ
[Fatir 35:28]
, and He the Exalted said:
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ
[Ar-Rahman 55:46]
, and He the Exalted said:
The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allahإِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلا اللَّهَ
[At-Tawbah 9:18]
the verse, from Surat al-Tawbah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
