The second question of Fatwa No. ( 10575 )
Q 2: The understanding of hadith and acting upon it in light of the current state of Muslims, specifically the hadith ofHudhayfah ibn al-Yaman(may Allah be pleased with him), which was narrated byal-Bukhariin the Book of Fitnahs, under the chapter "When there is no community." So what isthe meaning of the seclusion mentioned in the hadith, which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)Hudhayfah(may Allah be pleased with him) was commanded to do when the Muslims have no community and no imam? ؟
A 2: Fitnahs are numerous, and the intended meaning of seclusion is to avoid the causes of fitnah and the sources of misguidance, while continuing to call to the truth and striving to act upon it. So choose for yourself the one closest to good, and cooperate with them in righteousness and piety, hoping for rectitude and safety from evil. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
