A vow to fast one day and break the fast the next: Does fasting Ramadan suffice for the corresponding days?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 17465 )
Q: I made a vow to Allah the Exalted to fast one day and break my fast the next day until Allah relieves me from what I am going through. Now I ask: can I break my fast for a month corresponding to the month of Ramadan? Second: can I break my fast for six days after the six days of Shawwal if I fast them consecutively? This is so that the order matches: one day fasting and one day breaking the fast. I hope to receive a sufficient answer from your eminence regarding this question. I ask Allah the Exalted to make you a support for us and for the Muslims, and to place it in the scale of your good deeds on the Day of Resurrection. I hope once again that you will not forget me in your supplication. May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A: Fasting Ramadan is obligatory by the original text of the Shari'ah, so it has no connection to the vow. What is obligatory for you by the aforementioned vow is to fast one day and break the fast the next until Allah relieves you from the hardship you are in, except for fasting Ramadan, the two days of 'Id, and the days of Tashreeq. The two days of 'Id and the days of Tashreeq are not to be fasted in your situation.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
