The Permissibility of Fasting Outside Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the blessings of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is that the righteous deeds prescribed for us in Ramadan remain prescribed at all times.Fasting is prescribed at all times, first of all:- Following Ramadan with six days of Shawwal, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Whoever fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwal is like fasting the entire year) .

And likewise: It is prescribed for a person to fast three days of every month, for fasting three days of every month is equivalent to fasting the entire year. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Fasting three days of every month is fasting the entire year) .
Likewise, fasting the white days specifically, which are the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth of every month.
Likewise, fasting Mondays and Thursdays of every week.
Likewise, the best fasting is to fast one day and leave one day. The best fasting is the fasting of Dawud, who used to fast one day and leave one day. This is better than sticking to Mondays and Thursdays;Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (The best fasting is the fasting of Dawud) And on this basis, if it happens that your fasting falls on Sunday and Tuesday, and you break your fast on Monday, then this is better than fasting on Monday,But the consideration remains: If the day you break your fast happens to be Monday, do we say: Fast it because it is Monday, even if it disrupts the pattern of fasting one day and breaking the fast the next?Or we say: The best is to proceed with fasting one day and breaking the fast the next;Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (The best fasting is the fasting of Dawud) , and because there is rest for the body in that. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) specified this after seeing the determination of 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As to fast more than that, but he did not permit him to fast more than this. Rather, he directed him to the best.A person hesitates in this, meaning: Is it better if Monday happens to be your day of breaking the fast that you fast it, or not?And it appears to me: That you do not fast it. As long as you have arranged yourself to fast one day and break the fast the next, this is the good and it is the best fasting, and it provides rest for the soul.
