Lying in Jokes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6928 )
Q 2: Many people lie when they are joking. Is that permissible for them? When they start joking, I leave them. Do I earn a reward or a sin by doing so? Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.
A 2: If the joking involves explicit lying and falsehood, it is obligatory to leave that gathering, and you will be rewarded if you leave the gathering because of the lying in the joking. If the speech involves insinuation and ambiguity toward the person addressed, but it is truth and honesty, then there is nothing wrong with it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
