The second question of Fatwa No. ( 13002 )
Q 2: A young man’s wife gave birth to a child in America , and the delivery was by cesarean section. The hospital expenses were high, and he could not afford to pay them. He then joined a company that provides free medical treatment for him and his family. Is it permissible for him to obtain a report from the hospital stating that he joined the job before the operation was performed on his wife, so that the company would pay the treatment bill, even though this is contrary to the facts?
A 2 : That is not permissible because it involves deception and lying.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
