Q2: Is treating the wife obligatory upon the husband, like financial maintenance or not?
A2: A man’s treatment of his wife is part of treating her with kindness, and part of the excellence in worship that Allah commanded in His saying:[Al-Baqarah 2:195] And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
