The sixth question of Fatwa number ( 18649 )
Q 6: We have among us those who speak or describe things without mentioning the name of Allah, and often, during their speech, for example, they say, “This is beautiful and its place is appropriate,” and during their speech, it breaks or gets damaged, so we say it is the evil eye. What is the cure for the evil eye according to the Sunnah? May Allah reward you with good?
A 6 : It is the Sunnah for one who is pleased with something other than himself, such as a person’s appearance, a vehicle, a residence, or anything else, to say: (What Allah willed, there is no power except with Allah); because Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Kahf 18:39] , and the cure for the evil eye is: fortifying oneself with the remembrance of Allah by reciting Ayat al-Kursi after prayer, and when going to sleep, and likewise reciting Surat al-Ikhlas and the two Mu’awwidhat three times every morning and evening, and three times when going to sleep, along with trust in Allah and reliance upon Him, and believing that benefit and harm are in the hand of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and that what Allah willed happened and what He did not will did not happen, and by that Allah protects the servant from the evil eye and other things that harm him.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
