Ruling on abandoning the call to Allah out of fear of the evil eye

Question:
One of the female listeners says: The questioner is Zahra. Our sister says that she loves the call to Allah, but she fears that if she engages in it, she will be struck by the evil eye, as she has noticed that many people have been affected by it; they have become lazy about performing worship. What is the Shaykh’s guidance? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
This is Satan’s attempt to discourage her—may Allah protect us from him—from engaging in the call to Allah if she has knowledge. She should engage in the call like a man…… teaching and guiding her relatives and others, hoping for what is with Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 1893a, and greater than this is His saying, Exalted is He: [Yusuf:108], and His saying, Exalted is He: a [An-Nahl:125]. So if a man and a woman have knowledge, it is prescribed for them to call people to Allah and to be patient in that, and not to fear the evil eye or other illusions…… of Satan. The evil eye is in the hand of Allah; she should rely on Allah and ask her Lord for well-being.
The man likewise asks his Lord for well-being, and nothing but good will come to pass—if Allah wills. He should rely on Allah and take the means, and he will see nothing but good. He says in the morning and evening:Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani), and nothing will harm him…… And if he says: Sunan Ibn Majah 3869 three times in the morning and evening, nothing will harm him. He should practice what Allah has prescribed: reciting Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer: [Al-Ikhlas:1], and the two chapters of protection (al-Mu’awwidhatayn) after every prayer. He repeats these three chapters three times after Maghrib and Fajr. All of these are among the means of well-being and safety from the harm of the evil eye and others. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
