Q 3: I sometimes listen to Christian programs, and this is for the purpose of gaining information and getting to know Christian thought. What is the position of Islamic law regarding this?
A 3: It is not permissible for you to listen to Christian programs, unless you are well-versed in knowing their falsity, such that you have religious knowledge by which you distinguish the truth from falsehood, so that they do not affect your creed and religion. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
