Q 2: Whatis the ruling on stealing cigarettes from my father? Knowing that they harm him, and that no fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) arises from stealing them from him.
A 2 : If the situation is as described, it is prescribed to destroy them to prevent the harm, provided there is safety from fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). It is obligatory for you to advise him, explain the harm they cause him, and inform him that smoking them is forbidden. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
