Q 3: Whatis the ruling on one who repents and then returns to the same sin ؟
A 3: If he was sincere in his repentance from the sin, his intention was truthful, he abandoned it and regretted it, and then Satan whispered to him and his soul, which commands evil, overcame him, so he fell into that sin a second or third time, and so on—this does not return to him the sin from which his repentance was accepted. He must repent from what recurred upon him
the second or third time, and take the means to distance himself from this crime. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
