The Morning and Evening Adhkar
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 11021 )
Q 2: I have heard that every Muslim must recite a set of adhkar in the morning and evening, every day and night. What is this set, O honorable Shaykh? I hope you would be kind enough to write down the Qur'anic verses and hadiths contained in this set that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say.
He (peace and blessings be upon him) says it
A 2: A Muslim should strive to maintain the recitation of whatever verses and supplications from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are accessible to him, such as Ayat al-Kursi, the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah, and the two chapters of protection (al-Mu'awwidhatan). We advise you to read the book (Al-Adhkar) by al-Nawawi , (Al-Wabil al-Sayyib) by Ibn al-Qayyim , and (Al-Kalam al-Tayyib) by Ibn Taymiyyah ; so that you may learn from them the adhkar of the morning and evening. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
