The Supplication for Ablution
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6278 )
Q 1: What is the ruling on performing wudu' without the tashahhud or seeking refuge?
A 1: If one omits the tashahhud after completing the ablution, he has omitted a recommended practice, and his ablution is not invalidated by that; rather, his ablution is valid. As for seeking refuge, it is not a recommended practice in the ablution; rather, it is prescribed to mention the name of Allah at its beginning. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
