Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says, “O Shaykh, is there a Sunnah for wudu?”

Answer:
When one performs wudu, it is recommended for him to pray two rak’ahs, the Sunnah of wudu, which is called the Sunnah of wudu. In the hadith of ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) , he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who performed ablution like this ablution of mine and offered two raka`ahs of prayer without allowing his thoughts to be distracted, all his previous sins would be expiated.إذا توضأ العبد فأحسن الوضوء، ثم صلى ركعتين لا يحدث فيهما نفسه؛ غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
