Opening the session with the words: "Indeed, all praise is for Allah; we praise Him and seek His help"

The second question of Fatwa number ( 15064 )
Q 2: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) always open his sessions with: "Indeed, all praise is for Allah; we praise Him and seek His help"
or did he also open with other supplications? What is your opinion of those who open with other supplications, the important thing in which is praising Allah and extolling Him? Knowing that many shaykhs do not adhere to this opening, such as Ibn Taymiyyah , and Ibn Baz , and even Al-Albani in one edition of his book (The Description of the Prophet's Prayer)

A 2: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not adhere to this supplication in all his sermons and sessions; rather, he would open with it and open with other things. Therefore, it is permissible for a Muslim to open his session of knowledge and reminder with any opening or supplication established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). It is also permissible for him to open his session simply by praising Allah with the words "All praise is for Allah," or simply by the name of Allah with the words: "In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate," or: "In the name of Allah" alone, based on his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Every matter of importance that is not begun with: "In the name of Allah," is cut offكل أمر ذي بال لا يبدأ بـ: بسم الله، فهو أجذم
, and in another wording:
which is not begun by an expression of praise to Allah is maimedلا يبدأ فيه بالحمد لله فهو أجذم
Sunan Abi Dawud 4840Da'if (Al-Albani)
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
