Al-Halabi: All praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides is not to be led astray, and whoever He leaves to stray is not to be guided. And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. As for what follows:
So we ask Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to grant our Shaykh, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman Muhammad al-Nasir al-Din al-Albani (may Allah preserve him), success in this blessed session, so that He may give us from his knowledge and time what will remove the distress through his hands, and what the Muslim community will benefit from through it. Especially since people have appeared here and there who pick up words and doubts from the speech of the scholars, placing them in the wrong contexts and presenting them contrary to the intent of those who said them, seeking nothing from that but fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). It is as if they are making it a test for the people, the callers to Allah, and the students of knowledge; such that whoever agrees with them on these doubts or issues is elevated and held in high regard by them, while whoever opposes them—indeed, I say: challenges them—becomes an innovator and a deviant, and the arrows are directed at him and the refutations are launched against him. Therefore, O our Shaykh, we ask Allah to preserve you. We know what you have in terms of works, and we know your circumstances, but what must be done must be done. We have learned from you for about twenty years, and we ask Allah to increase us and you in steadfastness.

The questioner: Amen.
Al-Halabi: The saying of the one who said: "What cannot be fully grasped should not be largely abandoned." These are concise questions we present before you, our teacher; perhaps Allah will grant you success in the truth upon which you are, and will make us and you steadfast.

The questioner: Amen.
Al-Halabi: For more good, obedience, and righteousness. Indeed, He is the One who has the power to do that and is capable of it.

The Shaykh : O Allah, amen.
