A woman’s clothing regarding jewelry containing images

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 16448 )
Q: There is jewelry that women wear in our region in the south, around the neck, made up of a set of French silver riyals, and on each riyal
there is an image of a man, birds, and a church with crosses on it, and horses. What is the ruling on wearing this jewelry? Is it forbidden? And what is required of the one who wears it now, or of the one who wore it in the past?

A: It is not permissible for a woman or a man to wear anything containing an image of a living being, whether human or otherwise, whether this image is in jewelry, clothing, or anything else, nor anything containing a cross;
It was narrated that a man from [the tribe of] Banu Asad said: `Ali (رضي الله عنه) came out to us and said: The Prophet (ﷺ) has enjoined Witr, and this is the time to pray Witr. O Ibnun-Nabbah, give the call to prayer.لأن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر بطمس الصورة وإزالتها
Musnad Ahmad 860Da'if (Darussalam)
Therefore, it is obligatory to erase the image from the aforementioned jewelry, and there is no harm in wearing it thereafter for the woman. As for her prayers in the past, they are valid, and she must repent to Allah for what has passed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
