Q: We request your honor to clarify what you see regarding the words listed below, as well as the drawing , as I found them with my brother’s wife, on the claim that her mother had given them to her to protect her from fear. If your honor sees any observations regarding their use,
please clarify them from all angles. These are the words ( Supplication for fear: O fear, what has grown, O fear, come out of the body of the son of Adam, by the status of our mother Hawwa and our father Adam ). Please inform us, may Allah reward you with all good.
A : It is not permissible to make this supplication, nor to hang it on the body to prevent fear; because that is shirk (associating partners with Allah). Likewise, asking by the status of Hawwa and Adam is not permissible. Rather, it is obligatory for the Muslim to supplicate to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) alone. He the Exalted said:[Al-Jinn 72:18], and it is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
