Q12: A man has many children, and he and his family live in one narrow room that is not spacious enough for them. What should he do so that he does not go against the command of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: “Separate them in their beds”?
A12: Separating the children in their beds is obligatory, according to one’s ability and capacity, and the Muslim should strive to achieve this. Allah the Exalted said:[At-Taghabun 64:16] , and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ... Sahih al-Bukhari 7288 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
