Where was the location of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was taken on the night journey and ascended?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) experienced the night journey and the ascension in a single night. The discussion here concerns several matters. The first matter: Where was the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was taken on the night journey and ascended? We say he was in Makkah, and he was taken from the Hijr, the Hijr that is in the Ka'bah. This is the meaning of His saying:
Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram سبحان الذي أسرى بعبده ليلاً من المسجد الحرام
[Al-Isra 17:1]
meaning from this mosque in which we are, from the Hijr to al-Masjid al-Aqsa. It has come in some narrations that he was taken from the house of Umm Hani'. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) reconciled the narrations by stating that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sleeping in the house of Umm Hani', then he moved from the house and slept in the Hijr, and then he was ascended from the Hijr. Accordingly, His saying:
Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram سبحان الذي أسرى بعبده ليلاً من المسجد الحرام
[Al-Isra 17:1]
means this mosque, and not from the house of Umm Hani'. Rather, he was initially in the house of Umm Hani', then he moved to the Hijr, and he was taken from there. This is entirely appropriate, that he be taken from one mosque to another, from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa. So, from where was the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taken on the night journey and ascended? He was in Makkah, from al-Masjid al-Haram, from the Hijr, which is part of the Ka'bah.
