Her mother is wealthy and her husband prevents her from maintaining ties with her

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa number ( 6416 )
Q 2: I send money to my mother every month. She owns a villa and has started a project from which she earns a reasonable profit. She also has a reasonable balance in the bank, not a large amount, and Allah knows best. I am a daughter and not religiously obligated to send money, but my longing for my mother drives me to send this money. My husband says to me: “We are in greater need of this money, because we will build our future.” But I did not listen to him because of my excessive longing for my mother. What is the correct course of action, and is not listening to my husband considered disobedience?
A 2: Maintaining ties with one’s mother is prescribed, and you have done well by being dutiful to her, provided that the money you send is from your own wealth. However, if it is from your husband’s wealth, it is not permissible for you to maintain ties with her using any of it unless your husband is willing.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
