Question forty-two from Fatwa number ( 12087 )
Q 42: Is it permissible to use soap that contains pig fat, and the like, such as a toothbrush , given that a person washes his hands thoroughly with water to remove the effect of the soap, and water removes all impurities?
A 42: It is not permissible to use such items in the state described, due to the prohibition of the pig; therefore, anything mixed with the pig is forbidden because of it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
