Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of the fatwa number ( 18952 )
Q5: What is the ruling on eating the products and crops made by polytheists, secularists, communists, atheists, and others who are not from the People of the Book, such as tuna (canned fish) and crops like wheat and rice?
A5: There is no harm in eating the products and crops made by polytheists and the People of the Book, as long as they are not from their slaughtered animals, for it is not permissible except what the People of the Book slaughter according to the Shari'ah method. As for the other disbelievers, it is not permissible to eat their slaughtered animals. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
