When the preacher hears, his heart softens, but when he leaves, it hardens

The first question of Fatwa number ( 11533 )
Q1: Iwhen I hear sermons and exhortations, my heart softens, but when I go to my brothers and family, everything I heard flies awayas if I had not heard anything, so what is the remedy for that?
A1: Your being moved by exhortations and sermons is evidence of your faith and that there is good in you; for only the believers remember, and only the righteous take heed. Allah the Exalted said:
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:55]
So continue to listen to exhortations and pay attention to sermons, while adhering to the mindfulness of Allah, so that Allah may benefit you through them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
