Q: What is the ruling in Islam regarding loving wealth and accumulating it ?
A: Wealth is beloved to souls, as Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Fajr 89:20] And He said: [Al-'Adiyat 100:8] However, a person should not allow his love of wealth to lead him to earn it through forbidden or unlawful means. Nor should a person be stingy with wealth regarding the payment of obligatory religious dues or necessary expenses. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Q: What is the ruling in Islam regarding loving wealth and accumulating it ?

And you love wealth with immense love.
وَتُحِبُّونَ الْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّاAnd indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
