If the fetus dies in an accident while still in its mother's womb, it follows her

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 10907 )
Q: Allah the Exalted decreed a collision between me and another person, resulting in the death of five people. Among the deceased was a pregnant woman with a fetus in her womb , and only Allah the Exalted knows the duration of her pregnancy. A fatwa was issued to me by the Permanent Committee, number (9691), dated 2 \ 7 \ 1046 AH, which obligated me to fast for two months on behalf of each of the five deceased. However, no information was provided regarding the fetus that was in its mother's womb.
We are seeking your guidance on whether I am obligated to fast on behalf of the fetus that remained in the knowledge of Allah in its mother's womb at the time of the accident. I am hesitant and confused about my situation, and you are the light by which we are guided after Allah. I ask you to answer me with what you see to be correct in this matter, and may Allah guide you to what is good and right.

A: If the matter is as described, then the fetus follows its mother if it dies while in her womb. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
