A2: It is permissible to use vinegar as a condiment. It is reported in (Sahih Muslim) from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is also reported therein from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Mishkat al-Masabih 4183 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
