The waiting period of a woman who observes it through menstruation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 18259 )
Q: A woman was divorced, then she had her first period and became pure. Five days after her purity, she underwent a surgical procedure and cauterization inside the vagina
and the uterus. Following that procedure, she experienced light, intermittent bleeding.
Then it stopped for two days, then it resumed as before, then it stopped for three days and she did not see it. After these three days, her regular period came with its regular duration, and then she became pure. Does the bleeding after the surgical procedure and cauterization, and then its stopping for three days, and then the coming of the second period count as three periods of purity or only two? I ask for your answer, and may you be rewarded.

A: If the matter is as described, then the blood that occurred after the procedure and cauterization is not considered menstrual blood; because the cause of its emergence is clear, which is the cauterization. Therefore, it is considered corrupt blood, and the stopping after it is not considered a period of purity. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
