In the first three days of menstruation, a sign of blood appears; what should she do?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 18489 )
Q 4: A woman experiences menstruation at its fixed time, but she does not see any blood flowing during the first three days; rather, there is only a slight indication from within of the presence of a small amount of blood. On the fourth day, the blood flows, and after it flows, she remains for her known days of menstruation. What is the ruling regarding the first three days? Does
she pray and fast in them, or what does she do? It is known that this was not her original menstruation; rather, it occurred in her after undergoing a uterine cleaning procedure following a miscarriage, and this continued with her in all months.

A 4 : The dark or yellow discharge that a woman finds during her customary days is considered menstruation for which she leaves off prayer and fasting, and it is not permissible for her husband to have intercourse with her during it; due to the statement of Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her):
After we were pure, we did not consider the yellow or muddy discharge to be anythingكنا لا نعد الكدرة والصفرة بعد الطهر شيئًا
Bulugh al-Maram 143
, and the implication of that is that dark or yellow discharge before purity is considered menstruation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
