Among the customs, when a woman exits the period of mourning, she goes to the mosque and prays two units of prayer in it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 5137 )
Q1: It is our custom that when a woman exits the period of mourning, that is: after four months and ten days from the death of her husband, she goes out after the Maghrib prayer and goes to the mosque, accompanied by another woman, and prays two units of prayer, and supplicates to her Lord, and at this time the mosque is empty of men. Is her going to the mosque forbidden for her and for the one with her?
A1: If the woman whose husband has died, after the completion of the waiting period, and
with her, goes to the mosque after the Maghrib prayer to pray two units of prayer in it, believing that this is a recommended practice, then this act is a religious innovation and it is not permissible to do it with this belief; because this act has not been reported from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) or from his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) as indicating it, and in the authentic hadith from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected.من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد
Sahih Muslim 1718a
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
