Are there specific books a woman can refer to regarding issues of menstruation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Issues of menstruation are extensive, and the sisters always send messages about this. Are there specific books a sister can refer to on this topic?

The Shaykh : There are no specific books. The jurists (may Allah have mercy on them) spoke about menstruation and gave it an independent chapter. However, some jurists (may Allah have mercy on them and forgive them) mentioned details that not even a student of knowledge understands. We know that this is not intended in the Shari'ah, for the Shari'ah is easier than this.
Menstrual blood is well known; women recognize it. It must flow, for menstruation is derived from the concept of flowing. As for the details mentioned by some jurists (may Allah have mercy on them)—such as being confused, doubtful, or hesitant, and the like—these are hardly known even by a student of knowledge. Some of them even extend the chapter on menstruation to, for example, one hundred and fifty pages. I say that this is questionable. Therefore, I cannot refer anyone to any of the books.
